Study what you love. We’ll make sure you graduate with marketable job skills and a solid plan for pursuing your passion. In the meantime, now is your chance to write, research, read, create, compose, perform, exhibit, make, craft, design—and explore for yourself how far your talent can take you.
- Love what you’re learning: Say you’re studying Langston Hughes. At Stockton, you’ll go way beyond a textbook. You’ll handle original, unpublished manuscripts by Hughes at our Text Center. You might even workshop your own poetry with a Pulitzer-prize winning professor.
- Land bigger internships: Employers know that Stockton students are well-rounded and on-the-ball. That’s why our students continue to land amazing internships with the Smithsonian, Library of Congress, The National Archives, MTV, the Philadelphia 76ers and many others.
- Show off more: Performing arts majors receive special opportunities to direct and collaborate with faculty. Chances to perform in our many dance, theatre and music productions are open to all majors. So go ahead: major in public relations—you can still audition for the jazz ensemble.
- Graduate with a perfect 10: Every liberal arts program at Stockton ensures you develop 10 practical skills, called essential learning outcomes (ELOs), that all employers look for. Just one more way we make you ready for the job hunt.
